Description
Mary Ellen Lessord, right, receives braille instructions from Arianna Calesso. Calesso, who is legally blind, teaches braille for free from her home in Irondequoit. Lessord, who is not blind, is studying for her Library of Congress certification, which will allow her to transcribe documents into braille for the visually impaired.
